The Crossroads Youth Policy Forum, hosted by the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board (WDB) in Spring 2025, brought together policymakers, youth practitioners, and youth for a powerful convening focused on identifying solutions to improve youth mental wellness. The event emphasized the urgent need for coordinated action to expand access to mental health resources and support systems for youth across Los Angeles.
Drawing on insights from the forum, WDB’s consulting partner, ReThink It, developed a set of actionable recommendations to enhance youth mental health services and create pathways for youth to explore employment opportunities in the mental health field.
