The Solid Ground Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) helps prevent new cases of homelessness for families by stabilizing housing and helping families to build a more financially secure future. Services include housing search and placement, and housing stabilization such as case management, budgeting/money management, assistance with accessing public benefits, and financial assistance.
To receive HPP services, you must:
- Reside in the City of Los Angeles
- Be at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI)
- Be at high risk of homelessness (delinquent on rent) or facing the risk of homelessness (i.e., enduring a financial hardship that could result in homelessness, but not yet at risk of becoming homeless)
Does HPP Provide Financial Support?
Yes, but financial assistance is limited. Please inquire with one of our specialists for more information at cid-info@lacity.gov.
Will This Affect My Public Benefits?
No, HPP will not affect you or your family's ability to receive or continue using public benefits such as CalFresh, CalWORKS, SSI, SSDI, or other local, state, or federally supported programs.
Where Can I Get More Information About HPP Services?
