Business Growth & Support Programs

CID offers a variety of business growth and support programs. Among these programs are our Incubator and Accelerator partners, the Business Response Unit (BRU), and Good Food Zones.

CID Business Programs

Incubators & Accelerators

Business incubators are programs specifically designed to help young startups innovate and grow. They usually provide office space, mentorship, education, and access to investors. These resources allow companies to determine if a business concept is viable while building a network with like-minded individuals.

Business Response Unit

The Business Response Unit, or BRU, assists local businesses in navigating Los Angeles City business requirements and incentives. The BRU is a one-stop shop for businesses within the city limits of Los Angeles to submit any questions and receive specialized help.

Good Food Zones

The City of Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, is launching the Good Food Zones Program. This initiative focuses on supporting food-centered businesses within designated Good Food Zones by providing $25,000 grants.
